Fort Scratchley Newcastle NSW Australia
In 1872 with the departure of Imperial Troops, 25 converted 80 pounder RMLs were presented to NSW.
Four were installed at Fort Scratchley by 1882
Nos 87, 89 & 97 were in the casemate battery and no 85 in the western barbette.
Replaced by 1907 then used as counterweights in Newcastle dockyard
Returned to fort in 1991.
