four digits to love you
Another thing in my pbresource order was a new four digit display to replace the one I zarked. I'm very happy to see that this one works beautifully, and it was, in fact, just the display itself that I zarked, and not anything further up (like the motherboard. That would have been really bad).
I was a little worried when I first started it up, because it said "17" on the left side and nothing on the right, but when I put in a credit the number went up, and I realized that since I fixed the battery pack it was now remembering how many credits were in it when it turned off! Neat!
Right now I am going to replace the apron before I do ANYTHING else, to protect that 4-digit display from any future idiocy that I might be stricken with!
The rest of my Pinball Resource order was a new set of rubbers and 30 new #47 lightbulbs, but I'm going to wait to install those until we're done cleaning the playfield.
