It is now a holiday let, repurposed as an art exhibition location for the duration of this year's b-side. This is the upstairs area. I don't think anyone knows whether it was this upstairs area or the downstairs that was used for the religious sect's apparently rowdy meetings. Whichever, there are no old windows on the 'public' side of the building which may have helped the Ranters to do their thing.
By the way, the person who owns the Ranters Lodge also owns and lives next door in the Dead House.
