Operated by the BBMF (Battle of Britain Memorial Flight) this Dakota (ZA947) provided this week's "Saturday Timewatch" post with three circuits and flypasts around Weymouth Bay.
The Douglas C47 not just looked good. She sounded great as well!
(Permit me a memory. In the past, assorted commercial flight diverts and snafus have resulted in some excellent one-off aircraft adventures. One such was my one and only flight in the civil DC3 version of the above. It was over half a century ago, brilliant and never to be forgotten.)
