Streamers.
Heading south from Scotland via Manchester, our travel and timing logistics meant that we were sadly not able to say hello to our favourite YouTube aircraft streamers i.e. Nick and his 16-year old son Tom of Blue Sky Live Aviation.
However, it would have been rude not to say howdy to "flght" who have several of the evening streaming slots at Manchester Airport. If you are not aware of the phenomenon, in this and the photo below you can see the equipment they use to broadcast live. It is far removed from the BBC outside-broadcast teams but the results are usually very professional with each crew putting their own spin on things. Most streamers broadcast live for between 4 and 7 hours, including Nick and Tom who have the Sunday afternoon slot.
