Aberlour 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Aberlour whisky comes from a village of the same name, located right in the heart of the Speyside region. Built in 1897, Aberlour claim that part of the magic of their whisky is the purity of the water source - it comes from a spring called St Drostan’s Well. I am told that Aberlour 10 epitomises the modern Speyside style - but can’t remember what it tastes like (swag) and have yet to open this bottle I have here.

At about £25 it is on the more ‘economical’ spectrum of single malt pricing. The consensus seems to be that this is a ‘beginner’s whisky’ available at a very good price - easy drinking and that ‘won’t offend anyone’ (lol). Mine was sent to me by Ocado for Burns Night so I’m probably going to try and pair it with haggis, needs and tatties, plus lots of shouting in a Glaswegian accent. Also bagpipe music and more shouting. I’m not even Scottish.
