Principles of Design: Contrast

The principle of design I think this photo has is contrast, the dark greens of the leaves vs. the light blues of the sky. The tree trunks also use lines drawing the eye up into the sky and color plays a key factor in the contrast. I tried to use the two large trees as a sort of framing device but am unsure if I succeeded…I do get a sense of balance as well. Not such a unique subject
