Rumble Lake, Kananaskis Alberta last week end. Clouds obscured the summit of Mt. Galatea on the other side of the lake, but down below the water of the outlet stream poked through the icy layer. Surrounding the water were many stones, delicately decorated in a bulbous mound of snow. I'm so glad I found this exquisite foreground; otherwise, the frozen lake itself was very bland in terms of photography.
