7th Army, Falaise Pocket.

 

German High Command (stupidly) sent them towards the center of the allied front lines. They had superior tanks, but the amount of allies... it broke them.

 

Most did not survive the way back, and those that did were heavily crippled. Infront of you is a Jagdpanzer "V" Jagdpanther.

 

The above did happen IRL, though the below, I am not so sure.

 

After the defeated 7th Army evacuated, the German forces in the area evacuated. One tank command refused, and decided to stay. The Epilogue of the campaign shows the area, heavily destroyed, some heavily destroyed. And the tank commander (Shultz I think) speaking. He says that he and his men were there, to cover the evacuating people. They were horribly outnumbered and were defeated.

 

I also had a critically damaged King Tiger, but Steam didn't take the picture for some reason, also, nevermind the UI. I don't know how to remove it.
