One accessory card actually had board-level repairs done. Interesting.
(UPDATE 2010-03-07: I now realize this is a flip-flop. I still don't know how this fixes anything unless there was a flip-flop it was replacing, and why so much rework was needed. My best guess is that the pinout was different from the version of the IC it was replacing.)
