SEforALL 2020 Forum - Preview Event, UNGA
The 2020 SEforALL Forum will be a major event at the start of the final decade to achieve SDG7, providing a global platform to mobilize resources, connect partners and showcase action to realize the promise of the sustainable energy revolution for everyone.
This side event, during the UN General Assembly and on the sidelines of the Secretary-General’s Climate Action Summit in September, provided an opportunity to showcase the 2020 Forum, to introduce the expected format and featured elements and to generate excitement and interest in participation. It highlighted both the benefits and opportunities of engagement at the Forum as well as in the lead-up to the Forum in bringing those concrete actions on the critical path to SDG7 forward.
