Natural Capital Accounting Land Report Launch
On 6 March 2018, the Minister of Environment, the Permanent Secretary of Lands and Forestry and the Director General of the National Institute for Statistics Rwanda launched Rwanda’s first Natural Capital Account for Land. Rwanda began using Natural Capital Accounting (NCA) as a tool to better measure and integrate natural resource wealth and assets into Rwanda’s national development planning process.
