Rwanda Green Growth Week - Closing Event (Green Rwanda Walk)
Led by the Ministry of Environment and partners, a Green Rwanda Walk took place on Friday 8 December. The walk began at the Rwanda Revenue Authority in Kimihurura and concluded at Stade Amahoro in Remera.
Participants were encouraged to wear green to show their support for sustainable development and environmental protection in Rwanda.
Closing the Rwanda Green Growth Week, Minister Biruta said the initiative is not only from the Ministry of Environment but is a national campaign because everyone is responsible for protecting our environment.
