we had a great spot in front of the Canadian Embassy for the inauguration. They had rented their own jumbotron, which we could use to peek at the swearing-in; the loudspeakers along the parade route were broadcasting the NPR feed of the event, and we could look straight down Constitution Ave. to see the Capitol in all its be-buntinged finest. Add to that our close looks at Obama headed to and from the swearing-in, and I'll say we had the perfect spot. God save the Queen, indeed.
