To get that sleek cigar storage device ready for hosting your precious sticks, you need to first and foremost, wipe the interior down with a damp cloth. This is done to moisten the wood and it should only be done with distilled water to avoid adding unwanted microbes or dirt to your humidors. Moisten the inside twice so the wood turns a darker shade of brown and it will be almost ready to receive your cigars. This step is absolutely necessary because if you don't do it, the dry wood will suck the moisture right out of your smokes. The next steps involve filling the humidifier with the proper amount of humidor solution or distilled water and then checking the hygrometer. If it gives a humidity reading of 70%, it's time to put your favorite smokes into the humidor. Visit My Playlist Here For More Thompson Cigar Reviews & Tips: bit.ly/12MEPQR
