week 48: December in Mississippi
No, it isn't always like this in December but it was particularly beautiful today. Sunny, temps in the low 70's... just gorgeous.
This shot is for the Portrait theme at 52 of 2011. I had been trying all sorts of shots all morning, got frustrated, went for a walk, found this lovely and quite huge magnolia tree, put the camera down in the pine straw, set the timer and ran to step up on the tree for this shot. Voila! My shot for the week.
