|| शुभम करोति कल्याणं आरोग्यं धनसंपदा शत्रबुद्धि विनाशाय दीपज्योती नमोस्तुते ||

~ Ancient Indian hymn said while lighting the evening lamp.

 

~ It means I salute or pray the light from the lamp, the one that brings auspiciousness, prosperity, good health, abundance of wealth, and the destruction of the intellect’s enemy.
