Dad at Mount Rushmore standing on Lincoln's head during construction
This is my father in 1939 when he took a road trip from Milwaukee to the Black Hills of South Dakota. He was there during the carving of the presidents at Mount Rushmore. They let him and his friend climb up the mountain and walk around on the heads. Here, my dad is standing on Lincoln's head. Not many people have had this oppurtunity. Kind of a blurry old photo, but the only one I have like it.
