Restless Sea (Learning ArtRage)

Pretty basic night scene - moon over the water - the cool part and the reason I uploaded it was to show you all the texturing in ArtRage that is possible if you weren't aware.

 

See those big globs of paint in the water - so full and gooey... I love that - and one way to achieve that result without smearing your actual paint is to add another layer below the background layer and just start globbing down paint and smearing it around.

 

Below is a picture of the same painting with the background taken away. You can see gooey white paint spread all over the canvas on the layer under the 'bottom' layer - then when the background is added back it adds some great depth.
