Germander Speedwell or bird's-eye speedwell (Veronica chamaedrys) is a species of Veronica, native to Europe and northern Asia. It is a herbaceous perennial plant, with hairy stems and leaves. The flowers are blue, with a four-lobed corolla. The form of the leaves are similar to white deadnettle. It can grow to 30 cm tall, but is normally about 12 cm tall. It grows on roadsides, meadows, open forests and their edges. It bloom from May to August. In agricultural crops it is a weed. It's a melliferous plant, pollinated by insects from order Hymenoptera.

Przetacznik ożankowy (Veronica chamaedrys) – gatunek rośliny należący do rodziny babkowatych (Plantaginaceae). Rodzimy obszar występowania to cała Europa, Azory i Madera, oraz obszary Azji o umiarkowanym klimacie. W Polsce roślina pospolita na niżu, w górach nieco rzadsza. Porasta przydroża, łąki, brzegi zarośli, widne lasy i ich skraje. Osiąga wysokość 10–30 cm. Kwitnie od maja do sierpnia. Kwiaty są jasnoniebieskie lub błękitne, często mają ciemniejsze prążki i fioletowaty nabieg u nasady. W uprawach rolnych jest chwastem. Roślina miododajna, zapylana jest przez błonkówki.
