My youngest Son bought me a new slide scanner at Christmas. This was the first image I tested it with. I was pleased with the results. Far better quality than previous scans I have shared here.
This was the last time I got to drive the old Girl when I was a second man. Best driving shift ever.
Taken by my driver that day, gentle giant the late Tom "tiny" Clementson . I took one of him too on the loco that I will re scan soon.
I would really like to drive her again,however the chances of that are next to zero because of the current feckless NRM policy.
I will be sorting through my favourite slides for re scanning as time permits.
