Trslides562 D5398 Perth
This one is taken from a slide processed in June 1973 and it looks to me as if Class 27 (D)5398 is about to leave Perth for Dundee with an Eastern Mark 1 SO at the from of the train.
The loco was new from BRCW to Cricklewood in July 1962 and became 27039 under tops. It was the first 27 to be withdrawn that hadn't suffered fire/collision damage in October 1975. Cutting up was at St Rollox in May 1977.
