I think I have said before these were my favourite platforms in Scotland as you could get nearly any class of loco in them.
Here on the 27th of March 1982 we have in the bay platforms 26025 waiting to depart with the 15.30 to Glasgow service, 25027 waiting to depart on the 15.20 service to Edinburgh and 47105 on an unidentified working in the main platform.
26025 was new as D5325, was withdrawn in 1993 and is now preserved, 25027 was new as D5177 and was withdrawn in May 1983 and 47109 was new as D1697 and withdrawn early for a 47 in 1987.
