Humvee
Humvee, derived from the acronym HMMWV (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle). Conceived in the late 1970s and introduced to the US Army in 1985 to replace earlier jeeps and light trucks. It serves in all US military branches and with many other nations.
The Indiana World War Memorial is a monumental building, modeled after the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, conceived in 1919 to honor the veterans of World War I. It houses a military museum which I visited on October 25, 2019.
