The Spectacles

The North Window and the South Window are close to each other. When looking at them from the west, they resemble a mask, so the pair is known as The Spectacles.

Arches National Park is located about 4 miles (6 km) north of Moab, Utah. The geology and climate of the region have produced here a variety of extraordinary landforms, arches being the most obvious and best known. The forces which created these land features continue at work here, slowly eroding and destroying features as they continue to create new ones. I visited this place on June 3, 2019.
