Day 4/4 of a hiking trip in Eastfjords of Iceland. This day we did an amazing 12km coastal loop around Búlandsnes peninsula near Djúpivogur village. It features dramatic coastal landscapes, black sand, vegetated islets, ponds, rich birdlife, and views of impressive mountains such as the pyramid shaped Búlandstindur. A narrow channel in the rocks projected the waves high like a geyser.
