The light of Jesus still shines

THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD by Mary Alice

Even though the world has grown dark

And the people perish for lack of knowledge

He still holds out his hand

To whosoever will

All over this land

Even in the darkness night

God’s light still shines

It will never grow dim

As long as one soul

Wanders out in sin

So let’s spread the Word

Jesus is coming

It won’t be very long!

I can almost hear the sound of the trumpet

As he calls his children home
