I received this lens in very bad condition. It wasn't easy to take him apart. I couldn't get through to the inner lens elements. There are rumors that Leitz used glue to join barrels together. I noticed a small spot on one of those inner lenses and wasn't hopeful that I could do anything with this lens. Still, I cleaned everything I could reach and reassembled the lens. Much to my surprise, the results are amazing. What fantastic sharpness. A slow lens but with the helicoid adapter, I was able to get close to 15cm. It was really worth all the effort.
