The Strain

 

 

Photo reference I used while painting "The Strain". The painting won best of show at the Boise art museums biennial "Higher Ground" art exhibit. Also-----> I slave over being a purist. This entails that I use no tracing for my paintings and such. In the end they seem to have a more human essence to them.
