Port Giles (not Ardrossan) Grain Silos - a

(THIS CAPTION TO BE CORRECTED TO RELATE TO PORT GILES - THE INFORMATION ABOUT ARDROSSAN IS STILL CORRECT, JUST THE IMAGE IS WRONG) Ardrossan is one of the gathering points for the grain harvested on Yorke Peninsula. Because of its extremely long (1,000 m) jetty, Ardrossan rates as a deep sea port and Yorke Peninsula grain, pulses, dolomite and salt are exported all over the world. As an unusual example, lentils from here are exported to Turkey!

The silos were built in 1952 and at the time were the largest in Australia. I haven't been able to find out just how high they are but according to the travel guides they "tower over the town."
