The mystery of the stationary Bee Fly solved . . .
It may look obvious in this photo that this Bee Fly has been impaled by an ambush bug which has sucked the life out of the fly. The photo may look ordinary but it took some contortions that weren't particularly fun for my 72 year old body to get a picture in which I could see the Ambush Bug that had sucked the life from the Bee Fly. I never did see the Ambush Bug clearly with my own eyes.
