Scalby Nabs

Scalby Nabs taken on a bright sunny but cold winter day from the pathway that runs alongside the Northern edge of Scalby Beck between the village of Scalby and the road to Hackness near the Everley.

Scalby Beck is a manmade stream, river built to help drain some of the winter flood waters as the they drain off the North York Moors into the River Derrwent and runs from just West of here Eastwardwards towards Scarborough before draining into the North sea just North of the town at Scaly Mills.

Thanks for taking the time to view this and other images in my photo stream.
