Starling family

Newly fledged Starling chicks on the roof of my bird table having a high protein tea.This is just one of a sequence of shots I took as the mother or father showed them to the different feeders on offer and sometimes even though they were actually stood in the feed they would cry out for the parent to feed them.

Over the last couple of days I have seen them become more independent and start feeding themselves ,though hand on heart I could not say it was these two youngsters.
