Soapy Swimming Pool for Beetles (No Way Out)
It's no "built in pool," but it is recycled plastic, LOL!
I am "bugged" by these destructive, chewing machines every year! I had hoped the excessive rain had killed all the grubs, but no such luck, they were just a little later emerging. I knock them off the plants into soapy water and smirk quietly as they swim in it to no avail. They have over 300 plants on their "menu," so I don't feel bad, even though they are interesting to photograph. I hate the way they buzz when they are scared off the plants!
