TV GUIDE BABAR
I did my best Jean and Laurent de Brunhoff impression for this illustration, rendered from a layout by Cynthia Ward. Creative collaboration is what made the experience working at Nelvana so special. It appeared on the cover of the national magazine TV Guide. The illustration was pulled from a Babar character bible I was commissioned by Nelvana to create, under the direct supervision of art director Kim Cleary.
The illustrations would be used for years in a plethora of merchandising opportunities that were developed to broaden the reach of the character, animated series, and brand.
