Stranger 55 of 100: Hollee

I am finally getting around to posting the image I took of Hollie. Since it has been so long I am a little fuzzy on the details. I remember I saw Hollie walking back to my hotel in downtown Denver. Hollie was chilling out near a little shopping center and I approached and explained the project. I remember seeing her blue eyes and thinking that it might make for a great portrait. It turns out she was at the small shopping center waiting for her friend. Since she was meeting someone we couldn’t move very far, I placed her in front of a plain piece of stone. I had her take a step out so that I could blow it out a little bit and hopefully her eyes would be the cornerstone of the portrait. I do remember having some problems with this portrait because she was so much taller than I was. Without something to stand on I couldn’t quite get the stare I wanted. Either way it was a fun encounter and a great portrait.

Thank you Hollie for being a part of my 100 Stranger Project.
