In the Pink

Hi - so today it was the Fracture Clinic. And difficult decisions - pink or purple (didn't fancy the orange - looks like really bad fake tan / and the green looks like part of the Jolly Green Giant!). So this apparently is Salmon (funny looking salmon to me - more Barbie!!)

The bootie is not my usual style. The plaster technician warned me that the bootie sometimes sticks to the plaster - but just to take it off when I got home. She told a wonderful story about one lady who left it on as it was stuck - six weeks of walking in it, and going to bed etc - and never taking it off!. Anyway - I have my special waterproof sock to shower in (sitting down on the floor as I am too scared that I will slip) so at least I will stay mostly clean and fresh (not sure what the foot will be like though).

 

Phil - although you have beaten me for length of time (6 months - how did you cope?) but this is my second time of doing this - and both times my husband has been working in the US. I have now told Pete he cannot go away again for any length of time.
