Hummer In A Hurry - Explored
This harried hummer was hurrying to the nectar dispenser at the industrial feed lot that my sister runs for indigent hummingbirds, thanks to a grant from the You Really Need To Eat More Sugar Foundation. Their premise is that hummingbirds eat a lot of sugar, and they're still skinny, so you can too.
Strobist Info: I used an exposure (1/80, f16 and iso 200) that allowed for the ambient light on the sunlit trees to register, and then employed enough strobes to get some good light on the birds. To the left of the bird there was a light stand with a bare YN560-II and a bare YN560, and to the right of the bird there was a bare Strobie 130 on a light stand. All strobes in manual mode were triggered by a Yongnuo RF-603N.
