Beach Camping Bahia de Las Animas
This was from a camping trip in the late 1990's when my cousin and I and two friends drove to Bahia de Las Animas in Baja California, Mexico and camped on the beach for the better part of a week. This bay is about 460 miles below the U.S. border, 425 miles by narrow paved road and 35 miles by heavily rutted and wash boarded dirt road and goat paths. When we arrived, it was deserted except for a few Mexican fishermen about a 1/4 mile away. In this day and age, it's hard to find a beautiful area so remote and uncrowded. At low tide there was excellent clamming in the area where the reflection is.
I've been going to Baja since the late 1960's. To see other pictures from this beautiful area see my Baja set. www.flickr.com/photos/9422878@N08/sets/72157600779263103/
