Succulent Clusters Black And White.
This is part of a succulent plant growing in a container in our garden. I photographed it this morning under soft overcast light, and then decided that I wanted directional light which would provide the shadows show shapes and textures. I also decided to to a black and white version of the finished shot, because I thought that the shadows and tones would lend themselves well to that look. Down below in the comments you can see the color version of this image.
Lighting info for those that care: Lit with on YN560 in an 8.6 inch Lastolite soft fox, hand held at camera left and above at 10 o'clock. Fill light came from a silver reflector at camera right.
