tiny mittens

Ruby has named them "my tinies". they are her favorite favorite favorite mittens. She will not wear another pair. It is so rewarding when your kid actually loves something you've made for them. She's already started lobbying for me to knit a larger pair for next winter. This is the second winter for these. I think she likes them because they fit snugly and don't fall off like the others. Hence the name. The long wrist ribbing is key.

 

Made from a pattern in my head with self patterning sock yarn. the thumbs and wrist cuffs were a different skein.
