This unit was designed for under developed areas with minimun resourses

to simplify and improve procedures in the blood donation sequence.

The benefits of the design positively affect both the experience

of the patient and the job of the nurse. The donor chair gently tilts

forward to keep the patient at ease, while aiding in the donation process.

While similar medical equipment can be cumbersome and difficult

to transport, the use of pivot points in the donor unit allows for the user

to fold it up reducing space consumption and making transportation

simple.
