Mauck.Triptych

I think that this meets the project goals of Triptych because it is one concept divided into three parts. It was one scene where my dog was laying in her dog bed with all of her toys. I think that it is good because you have the main focus being the dog and the two smaller pictures being the two toys that have the same neon colors. I think that the fuzz on the ball and the string on the rope compliments the hair on the dog. To take the pictures with all the same lighting, I had to move all of the toys to where she was laying in the sunlight. It was hard to make her lay still and this picture turned out great because she is actually making eye contact with the camera which I like. I also like how the ball and the rope are shot at different angles while the dog is taken straight on.

 

I like the neon colors on the rope and on the ball and the white soft colors on the dog. I also like how all of he lighting is the same. I had to change the layers in photoshop for the rope because I shot it at a different layer so it was darker than the rest. It was hard to get the dog to look into the camera and because she was laying in a dimly lit area, it was hard to get enough light on her. Also, she was trying to play with the ball while I was taking pictures so a lot of my pictures are blurry or dark because of it. If I could change anything, I would have taken the pictures of the ball and the rope at the same angle so it would unify the three. I think it helps the photo and hurts it, but I would probably change that. I would also have chosen toys that were closer to the colors of her hair instead of so bright and neon but those were the toys that she has so I had to work with those. Overall all I think it turned out well
