I got a Haircut!

Ok! You may thing, "no BIG deal"

Well it is a big deal. My last haircut was last July. Why did I wait so

long? Well, there are many reasons. I have been busy, haircuts cost a lot in

Japan, and the biggest reason, I was scared. What was a scared of? I was

scared that my Japanese was not good enough to go to the salon on my own. I

hate putting Japanese people in a nervous situation if they can't

communicate to me and I fear not being able to communicate what I need. So

today I felt ready. I drove past the salon twice and then I had the courage

to go in. The name of the Salon is great! "Lip Star" it is a really cool

place. My communication was just fine! Though my haircut is a little shorter

than I wanted, my confidence grew even more. I was also glad to meet 3 more

people in Takino. I am blown away and amazed at how far God has brought me

in the area of communication. In all today my fears were relived, my

confidence raised and I was only out $45 for the whole process.
