2016-01-12 Pacific National 48213 48208 Cunningar Silo

Shunting at Cunningar Silo is a somewhat awkward procedure as the short siding can only hold a small train, and is adjacent to the Main South Line. It is quite common for just 2 48 class locomotives to conduct the shunting. The train is comprising of around 10 wagons, with the remainder of the rake left in Harden Yard. This silo is being replaced by a new facility in the coming years to hold larger trains and be able to load much faster.

Graincorp units 48213 and 48208 are undertaking the service with the train operated by Pacific National.
