While we were up on the BN embankment the westbound Conrail runthrough pig train came along. I don't know about this day, but later on this would be the 288 train. In the distance you can see a yellow indication on the intermediate signal for the south track. That was a good indication that nothing was close on the south track. It seemed like it would stay yellow until the dispatcher started lining signals for an eastbound, then it would drop dark until the eastbound was in the block. Anyway, Conrail GP40's 3356, 3272 and 3221 are in charge.
