Shocktroopers were the most feared soldiers in the Separatist Army. They endured some of the most difficult training and were relentless in their pursuit of being the ultimate soldier. Those who couldn't keep up with the intense training were reassigned to infantry units. Shocktroopers were revered for their immense strength and fortitude during battle. It wasn't uncommon for a small squad of three or four Shocktroopers to take on an entire company of Marines- and survive. The record of Most Kills by a One Person (at 648 confirmed kills) is held by a former Shocktrooper; Percy "Bullseye" Hamilton, Staff Sergeant, Retired.
Hamilton is also credited with one of the most heroic acts of the war. Pinned down by a squadron of GH-23's from the 47th Marine Aircraft Wing, he single-handedly downed fourteen GH-23 Infantry Dropships with an unmounted 18.7mm Anti Aircraft Cannon, giving his troops the necessary time to escape.
