Looks a bit eastern European to me. It is in fact Staffordshire, England.
This image was uploaded in 2014, just after the invasion of Crimea. As a reality abstract it was to show sympathy with Ukraine and its people. At the time a friend asked "is this a new Sudetenland?". It now looks as though he was correct.
Update Feb' 2022. Russia wanted a 'buffer state' they've now got an enemy. Power to the people of Ukraine. Reminds me a bit of a book/movie called "Hunger Games".
