Infographic Process
Before conceiving of a layout and organization for the infographic, I extensively researched world religions to see what facts were available, common themes and patterns shared by them, and the overall landscape of the subject. Unfortunately, midway through my research the National Post published a world religions infographic organized similarly to my own intentions, which forced me to redesign my approach to produce something new. As I learned about information architecture it became evident which techniques lent themselves best to my objectives and the end product is an effective schematic on the quantifiable traits of the subject.
