Lone Tree

Viewing all the recent Flickr posts of pics taken in Africa, I am taking a walk down memory lane.

My trip to Africa was in June 1999. Even celebrated my birthday when I was there.

 

One of my dream photos was to get a shot of a lone Acacia tree and a Cheetah atop a spare tire on a Jeep - I got both.

 

All my shots were taken with my Nikon N60, 35mm film camera. 70-300mm lens. Negatives were downloaded to CDs. I only had the camera for about a month before I took this trip so I was still in learning mode. About 90% of my photos were taken while on the safari van, sometimes while moving. Not the best setup :-)
